What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar techniques, such as local storage, work the same way. Under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (art. 11.7a) and the GDPR, we may only use non-essential cookies and similar techniques if you agree.
What we use
| What | Provider | Purpose | Consent | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ybs-consent and ybs-lang (local storage) | YBS (this website) | Remember your cookie choice and your language so we don’t ask again on every page | Not needed (necessary) | 12 months |
| Booking calendar cookies | Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace) | Run the booking calendar shown on our home page: sessions, security and remembering your booking steps | Only if you accept “Booking calendar” or press “Show booking calendar” | Set by Acuity, see the Squarespace cookie policy |
| Vercel Web Analytics (no cookies) | Vercel | Counts visits and popular pages anonymously, using a hash that resets every day. It cannot track you across days or websites | Only if you accept “Analytics” | Aggregated statistics only |
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or TikTok pixels. Our fonts are stored on our own website, so no data is sent to Google when you load a page.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask for your choice. “Reject all” is just as easy as “Accept all”, and the website works normally either way. If you reject the booking calendar, you can still book through the booking page link, or show the calendar later with one click.
You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings, which is also linked at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
